Product Sizing
- We want you to be confident that the size you select is the size that will fit. The key to a proper fit is to know your measurements.
- Adult measurements…
o Height: Stand in stocking feet, with feet together, back to a wall. Measure from the crown of your head to the floor.
o Arm: Bend your arm to 90o. Place your hand on your hip. Start at the centre back of the neck, and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the wrist. The number of inches equals your sleeve length.
o Bust/chest: With your arms relaxed down at your sides, measure the fullest part of the bust/chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
o Hips: Stand with your heels together, keeping the tape straight and parallel to the floor. Measure around the fullest part.
o Neck: Measure around the base of the neck (the lowest point of the neck). Number of inches equals the neck size you should order.
o Inseam: Take a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the pants. The number of inches (to the nearest ˝” equals the inseam length. Please allow for shrinkage on 100% cotton pants.
o Rise: Start the tape at the centre back of your waist. Run the tape between your legs, pulling comfortably at the crotch and up to your natural waist. The total measurement is your rise. (be careful not have to much fun)
o Waist: Measure around your naked waist at the height you normally wear you slacks.
- Children’s measurements…
o Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape up under the arms and around the shoulder blades.
o Height: The child should stand in stocking feet, with feet together and back to a wall. Measure from floor to the crown of the head.
o Hips: Stand the child with heels together and measure around the fullest part.
o Torso. Run a tape measure full circle from the child’s shoulder at the neck, over the chest, down through the centre of the crotch and back up to the starting point. If the child is between sizes, always size up.
o Waist: Measure around the naked waist at the height your child normally wears his/her pants.
o Toddler: Measure the hips around the fullest part of the diapered seat. Unless otherwise stated, sizing allows for diaper room.
o Shoes: Depending on how shoe will be worn, trace sock-covered feet, then measure the longer foot from the heel to the longest toe.
